| pork loin (about 1.5 cm thick) | 400g |

| miso | 2 tablespoons |
| Sake | 1 tablespoon |
| Mirin (Japanese sweet cooking wine) | 1 tablespoon |
| Sugar: | 1 tablespoons |
| Soy sauce | 1 tablespoon |
①Combine the seasoning ingredients.
②Put the meat and seasoning mixture in a plastic bag and marinate it. (For thin sliced meat for ginger pork, marinate for about 30 minutes. For thick cut meat for tonkatsu, marinate for over a day.).
③Heat oil in a frying pan, add the miso, and fry the meat. Cover and steam until it's done.
